> There was only one John Lee Hooker, father of footstompin
boogie, the Boogie Man, the Crawling Kingsnake.
He introduced to the world a chugging country rhythm behind
amplified blues and a gruff emotional voice. And on top was a
starkly intense guitar, that greatly influenced a number of
young rock and rollers in the 60s and 70s including the Rolling
Stones, the Yardbirds and ZZ Top. John Lee was associated
with a variety Epiphone archtops, but most closely with the ‘64
Sheraton. This “outdid” ES-335 has been duplicated exactly, to
the original 1964 specifications... Boogie on!
