Korina is used on the 'space-aged' Gibsons ( Flying V, and Exploer ).

Korina is the tradename, it is African limba related to mahogany.

The wood is either a light ('white limba') or with dark stripes ('black limba' or 'korina') hardwood.

When finished in a clear coat, 'White Limba' results in an attractive light golden colour.
