POST # 659 Did you know The Maestro Fuzz-Tone circuit was invented by....
The Maestro Fuzz-Tone circuit was invented by studio engineer Glen Snotty. Snotty was trying to emulate the sound on Marty Robbins 1961 hit record 'Don't Worry' where the bass solo had a distorted tone due to a failing tube preamp in one of the mixers.

is being presented with a lifetime achievement award in Nashville. He also rigged up the first stereo recording machine, three headed recording machine not forgetting, inventing the Maestro Fuzz Pedal.
